The Mission.
One jump. 25 meters deep. 31.3 meters wide. A moment that changes everything.
On October 18, 2024, Vincent Tupin makes freeride history: with a drop you only do once in a lifetime. Pushing Into the Unknown is more than just a bike film – it’s a cinematic portrait of courage, doubt and absolute trust in your own feelings.
Filmed in Liddes, Switzerland and directed by Damien Vergez, this short film is more than a stunt reel. It’s an introspective, atmospheric deep dive into what it means to trust your preparation, your gut, and the team standing silently behind you. Vinny’s approach is pure: no hype, no over-explaining – just a long year of shaping, re-shaping, walking away, coming back. A mental process as heavy as the drop itself. “As long as I didn’t feel it, there was no jump,” he says in the film. “But when that click happens, it’s go-time. No brakes, no doubts.”
One Jump. One Impact. One Story. The result? A near-perfect takeoff – and a brutal impact. The kind of landing you can only take once in your life. This isn’t a success story in the classic sense. It’s not about clean landings or podiums. It’s about mental clarity, precision, and the edge of possibility. And about a team that trusted in the madness – and made it rideable.
